Amaia is a founding partner and patent adviser at GALBAIAN. She has extensive experience in patentability analysis, drafting and prosecution of Spanish, European and international patent applications and utility models, opposition to European patents, infringement risk and patent validity studies. She has also served as an expert in patent litigations.
Amaia is a lecturer in training courses on patents for both working professionals and university students and a speaker at various forums, seminars, and conferences on patents.

Before founding GALBAIAN, Amaia worked as an R&D technician at the Savera Group and Arteca Caucho Metal, S.A. for four years, joining the Industrial Property Department of the Fagor Group in 2005 as a patent adviser.
